We are now taking registrations for Term 1 Touch Rugby Competition on our School Shop.

Details are as follows:

Queenstown Primary Module – Information

Touch Southland is Queenstown’s biggest Touch competition provider.

Venue: Queenstown Events Centre, Frankton

Games will be played between 4pm and 6pm on Mondays. Games are 30 mins. Game times can change each week.

Grades: Boys & Girls only in Year 1/2 ,Year 3/4, Year 5/6, Year 7/8

Girls Year 1/2,3/4 4-aside teams only

Girls Year 5/6,7/8 6-aside teams only

Fees: $25 per player

Game times will be posted on the Touch Southland website each week.

Format: Six weeks of competition – No games Monday 25th March due to Otago Anniversary Day & Monday 1st April due to Easter Monday

First Games: Monday 19th February 2024

Last Games: Monday 8th April 2024

Playing dates: 19,26 February,4,11,19 March and 8 April 2024

As we are required to have all teams and players entered with Touch Southland, you will need to register your child on the School Shop by Monday 12 February at the latest so we can sort teams and coaches/managers.

All teams are required to have a parent manager to assist the team with subbing on and off and general supervision of the team. Please note that if we do not have enough parent managers, you will be required to be on a weekly parent roster to assist the team in order for us to enter them.

There are no semi finals, finals or scores kept in this format of Touch as it is purely to get kids into the sport and learn the basic rules and skills of touch in a social environment.
