YEAR 3 WINTER SPORTS PROGRAMME
During Term 3 the Year 3 children will take part in a varied Winter Sports programme.
For Weeks 4 - 6 the children will have three weeks of ice skating at the Queenstown Fun Centre.
Each lesson will cost $9 ($27.00 totalfor the three weeks). This fee covers the cost of skate hire and professional tuition on the ice. Parents will not be charged.
If you can help transport children to the rink it would be much appreciated. Please meet in the classroom.
ICE SKATING TIMES:
Monday (9th, 16th & 23rd August) 9.30 - 10.30 am Rooms 23 and 10
Tuesday (10th, 17 & 24th August) 9.30 - 10.30 am Rooms 17 and 24
Wednesday (11th, 18th & 25th August) 9.30 - 10.30 am Room 16

WHAT TO BRING (IN A NAMED BAG)

Waterproof pants and jacket
Helmet
Gloves
Warm socks
Polypropylenes / Polar Fleece / Icebreaker

SNOW FARM NORDIC SKI DAY

In Week 5, the children will go to the Snow Farm at Cardrona for a Nordic Ski programme.

Rooms 23 and 10 will go on Tuesday 17August.
Rooms 16, 17 and 24 will go on Thursday 19 August.

The cost for this trip is $45.00 per child to cover trail and gear hire, tuition and bus fare. Parents are welcome to attend at a cost of$30.00, but will have to car pool as the bus will be full.

Further details about the Snow Farm trip will be sent home soon. All costs can be paid to the office in one lump sum.
