Results from the Parent Survey in 2009 showed that there was an overwhelming support for a compulsory school uniform.
The Board of Trustees acted on this and has worked towards introducing a uniform that is comfortable, stylish, durable and weather appropriate. The uniform is 'mix and match' allowing parents to choose items that best suit their child's needs.

FAQ

Is school uniform compulsory?

Yes the school uniform is compulsory.

What is the cost involved?

The items are all competitively priced (see price list).  The committee has worked hard to make a mix and match uniform so the costs can remain low.
We have kept our prices competitively low while ensuring the items are of good quality.

How much will it cost me to get the basic items?

Our aim is to fit a child out with a polo shirt, skort or pants and fleece for just on $100.00.  Other primary schools in the area range from $35 - $50 for a polo shirt.

What about wear and tear of the uniform?

We have chosen a supplier who supplies a large number of schools throughout New Zealand with the same products.  The navy bottoms do have a 10% fade rate and it is recommended to wash and dry these items inside out and out of direct sunlight.

Can I mix and match the uniform?

Yes, your child can choose between the cargo shorts, 3/4 pants and long pants and then the polo top and fleece/merino. Navy poly pros can be worn under the uniform as an extra layer
The sports uniform is however for those occasions where your children will be representing QPS outside of school and sporting events.

When can I buy the uniform?

How long for delivery?
